Hey. The name's AC, and I'm 12 years old. I have been actively writing poetry only since I joined, but literature in general has always been a passion and a past-time for me. Hope you like my page. If you want to leave your mark, go ahead in the guestbook.
Regards,
A.C.
And some facts:
I love green peas.
I am OBSESSED with The Sound of Music, The Phantom of The Opera, and Frank Sinatra.
The majority of people my age I find rather shallow, and talk about the dumbest things.
I have 2 geckos, 4 cats, and 2 dogs. My geckos are awesome, seeing them eat gut-gushing crickets.
I am a know-it-all and I hate my bragging, but occasionally I do.
I love little kids, as long as they're not monsters in disguise.
A.C. stands for my Irish pen name, Aidan Carr.
There will NEVER be a day where I tell you my real first name. Don't even try it.
The few friends that I have are mostly people I say hi to, and the like.
I only have like 3 good friends, which I like, because 50 best friends is ridiculous.
If I wasn't here, I wouldn't be an unusual 12 year old. But alas, here I am, starving for criticism.
You will rarely find a lighthearted poem of mine.
My most recent poem is "Journey to Wisdom". This could change every day, and sometimes every few hours.
Alone
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

Wow
Thank you. It's like "WHEN WILL THE WORLD EVER THINK MY POETRY SUCKS?!" Ugh. Same thing with my report card. But I think I can live with these compliments...
