    Lad,

    Thanks for the in-depth read. I left the poem so vague because while it does have a personal story behind it, I think that it is a fairly universal experience, and one that isn't commonly embraced in this world. Thus, this poem's motive is to drive people from the bonds which hold them. Thanks again.

    Fantastic Poem

    This poem hits upon almost everything that is wrong with this war. It conveys the problems of both sides and shows how they ruin lives. The girl's tale is truly tragic, and it is not only a personal tragey like many deaths are. It is a tragedy for humanity because we all did this, we all took part in the killing.
