BJ ColvinShow poetry

So I am 18 and this is my senior year in high school. I have been writing poetry for a long time now. It seems like forever but obviously this could not be true since I am only 18 so logically even if I was like a super genius baby I have probably been writing poetry for no more than 17 years. Was I a super genius baby? That is for you to try and figure out.

Okay well let me see what do I like to do... Oh I love talking politics and being very casual about everything from my poems to my talking to my... telling people about myself. Anyways, I also love to read and often stuff I read is an inspiration to what I write (gasp who would have ever guessed!) I love and mean love food and just talking to people even when they can't talk back. I love captive audiences. Muahaha! Or ummm *cough cough* I like it when people want to listen to me.

What do I dislike... I dislike what I dislike and that is, idiots(like the retarded kind who are like hey I farted ha ha GARH!!), onions since I am allergic(though I guess technically I am alergic to eggs and asapragus too but I can handle those better), stale popcorn, and ... hmmmm I know there is something I am missing oh yeah 10 page papers assigned by my bible teacher. -_-

So this is me and that is about it I am a very extroverted person and am very quirky. So I hope you all enjoy my poems and have a wonderful day! Or not the choice is yours.

  • on Change by The Distant Unknown, on December 12, 2008
This is was interesting for me because I just reworked my poem about change so it could be published for the school newspaper and comparing the two is quite interesting. We take change with two different stances with similar aspects. Good poem I really enjoyed it especially since I could compare it. Good read. ^^

I really like this form. Though I will admit I had to look up what Geisha meant. I just kind of liked the flow of it all the lines melded together well with meaning so there was never that point where I was like ummm what happened. Very good read. ^
