    I’m not sure if “ban” in line 19 is supposed to be “band,” although as is it actually kind of fits, considering. It’s already been said that the “Patriots, patriots!” refrain is probably overdone, and I’d have to agree with that. Three times tops ought to do it. The last line is perfect, really drips with the frustration felt throughout the piece.

    It’s almost funny but mostly sad that the majority of these American flags are plastered on Japanese cars. And no poem like this is complete without mentioning the dumbass country songs that get written about these “terrible tragedies”.
