My name is Bryndhl RavenCrow, but my friends call me Wic.

I am a 50 year old gay Wiccan male living in the small town of Poca, West Virginia (although I was born in Toledo, Ohio). My Wiccan path is that of the solitary, eclectic Kitchen or Hedge Witch.

I have been with my partner,Keith, for 26 years.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology, and enjoy studying World religions.

I spend a lot of my time reading (Sci-fi and Horror, Mysteries, History, and Biographies/Autobiographies...as well as my religious studies). I have library cards from several counties and private libraries.

I have four cats (two black of course), and two dogs.

I enjoy writing, and am doing much more of it as I grow older.

Thank you so much for the constructive help.

I wrote the poem during a very emotional time...the death of my Father. It flowed from me as you see it now, and I was going for a Victorian feel which I think I got...but I clearly see every criticism you had for the poem.

I am having trouble pulling it apart and reconstructing due to the emotional attachment I have for the piece. I am going to take it a stanza at a time and go at it bit by bit and see if I can seal some of the "cracks". I want the poem to be an honor to the memory of a man I loved very much.

    Again...thank you!

    Time is a mystery

The whole concept of time is so mind boggling! (I have always enjoyed seeing old pics of my Grandmothers when they were young beauties!Which they were indeed!)If you take this mystery, and add it to the mystery of love you get this awesome work! In life and love between any two persons the time frame expended is the same yet the experience of it is quite different for both. Queen T this is a very thought provoking poem and I will be reading it over and over I feel!
