Hello there. My name is Courtney , but I like to go by Haylee Renesmee as my pen name. I have been a member of sharepoetry for quite some time, but I have recently taken a leave of absence to get some things in my life together. I am eighteen and a senior in a small town high school on the southeast corner of colorado.


I'm a really easy person to get along with. I have had my problems but have worked through them and come out the other side stronger than ever. I love to laugh and smile. I have an amazing family consisting of my mother, father and my older sister and younger brother. I adore each of them and would do anything for them. I do not get to see my parents much because I live four hours away with my granparents. I spend as much time with them as I can and cherish each moment.

If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here. I've been through some tough times and I am willing to give out advice for anyone who needs it.

I have done a lot of things in my life that I regret, but we all do and we learn from our mistakes. I have learned many lessons and have become a better person from what I have experienced.

I absolutely hate liars. I cannot stand to be around someone I know is lying. Sure, we have all lied in our lifetime, but sometimes it is best to let the truth hurt rather than tear someone apart with a lie.


I am going to major in either philosophy or psychology. I am not sure yet. I love photography as well but it is not one of my best qualities.. in short.... I'm bad at it.

Attention seekers annoy me horribly. They usually crop up in young teenagers struggling to find themselves. The best way to deal with them is to just ignore them. They'll grow out of that stage eventually, hopefully.

I love to play drums and guitar, as well as piano. I am more musically talented than anything else, and music is my passion.

I loovvve Guitar hero. I am currently exceeding expert. I play it so much nothing is a challenge now. You will not beat me, so dont try.

I love to talk about politics, religion, and other things that keep me talking (or typing) for hours. I love to hear what others have to say. I love debating.

Throughout the years, my form of poetry has changed along with my life. The poetry you see on my page now is old and way different from what I have been writing. I hope to post new poems soon.
