I'm just a grown-up mind in an immature body like everyone else. I have a dark side like everyone else. And gradually, I find myself becoming that side. If you've noticed my dark poems lately, it's because of that. I just let my fingers do the typing and something that's inside of me bleeds out. That's how I've been writing mostly lately. Most would say I'm too happy to become a goth and too optimistic...I think some of you on here would disagree, because poetry shows my real side.

I hope you enjoy my poems and find them a good read.


FAITH
is like a dark tunnel,
until you see the light.

HOPE
is like the shore.
It is battered and buffetted,
but firmly survives the wave.

LOVE
is not just a friendly gesture
or the phrase,
"I love you."
It is adding up
to what Christ did for you.

    Thanks. This poem was one I wrote a while ago. It's not new, but I thought I'd put it up again since it made it to the semifinals of a poetry contest! I actually have it published now in the book Immortal Verses! I don't care if I win finals now --- they decide in January --- because I finally have something published! Anyway, I'm not trying to brag, thanks for your comment, Colin. And I hope to talk to you soon!

    This is great! I always love the poems that teach this moral, for I've learned it many times myself. I've always believed that if it's too good to be true on the outside, it probably is. It's the strangest people that are the best on the inside. Though, I do feel like it ended too quickly. You might want to add something on the end --- like a (rich/popular/liked by Daisy-Sue) man that goes for Grotwurt instead of Daisy-Sue, or maybe a moral or something. I think it'd really tie everything together. But overall, awesome job. Keep it up!
