    I haven’t known you very long,
    But feel I know you well.
    I don’t believe I’m going wrong.
    You’re special, I can tell.

    I love to read the things you write,
    Hear what you have to say,
    Learn what keeps you up at night;
    Sustains you through each day.

    I’ll happily do anything,
    To help you on your quest
    To teach your young man’s heart to sing;
    To be your very best.

    And now I’ll close by saying true,
    That his is not the end,
    Because I now consider you
    Adopted son and friend.

    Welcome to sharepoetry. This is a small, yet rapidly growing community of talented poets. Most of the folks here are fairly friendly most of the time. If you have any questions feel free to holler. I'm happy to help anytime I can. Enjoy your stay. I have compiled a list of helpful hints I can send to you that would help explain a few things. They explain the point system and how to win a free membership and things like that. Let me know if you would like them messaged to you.
    Read ya 'round,

    damn,..

    wow, i'm so sorry, sad, dark, poem,.. the length of the poem kind of comes off as all the years?,.. to me it feels like because of the length and the several instances it feels like you're ya know,.. fly on the wall in the home of hell,.. and you watch what goes on for many years,.. unable to stop what happens, and you keep reading,... Great poem,

    i love the instances of the tape...

    such as

    "And every scar that you made me engrave into my own flesh
    Rewound the tape inside my head
    Filling me with the agony and dread
    To playback your insults, and your laughter at my anguish as you beat me" and " As the tape rewinds itself one more time
    To replay that horror movie you created
    To make me relive my childhood of panic " as well,
