round 4 years back i started using poetry as an outlet. Whether i'd feel angry,sad,ecstatic,depressed...poetry never failed me. I started posting on sharepoetry.com for a while then stopped, seeing as i moved continents and had a lot of offline-activity going on. Now I'm 19, first year's med. student, studying at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands, a study that takes up a lot of time, but in which i ALWAYS make room for writing. I'm going to start posting again, and hope each bit of writing touches you in some way...no matter who you are, what you are, where you are. I've always believed poetry was universal, instead of holding a gun i paint a world on paper with a pen. I bet there are other ways people might use to try and change the world, but changing thoughts through writing is the only way i know to function.
Wishing you all the best, and may you find happiness in the tiny things that matter.
lots of love

i had a discussion a few months back with a friend of mine, about whether time affected our actions or if time really meant nothing at all, if it was just a measure people set for themselves while the outcome would actually be the same, no matter how much time had passed. I'm still wondering about that, but on the other hand i firmly believe that as far as common sense goes, i think we're all slaves of time...to a point. Time is what you make it, and to a point you can control what's going on.
I love how you made a point with few words, and short sentences... this is definitely one of my favourites!
