I'm pretty new to this poetry lark, never having coined anything more than a romantic poem for my other half at Birthdays and Valentine's days, but a certain someone who is very close to me asked me to write something to win a competition, which I did. Now I am the proud AP Hubby of CinDiLiCious---, having fought hard to get her!

on The sea and I meet often, come storms, wind or rain. by MaMa-2-be-Cindy, on May 2This is a cosy piece, it engenders warm fuzzy feelings, memories that everyone has of their childhood and youth.
About our dad's telling us (in lecture tones) exactly the right way to do things - not that we followed the "right way" - we always had to find our own! It took us years to identify the fact that our dad's were right all along!
About times with friends, drinking more than was good for us, but creating memories that would last a lifetime.
A beautiful piece, and thanks for the memories it created.
