If your a first timer to this page, then I would like to say "welcome". I am pratyush.... an author, a poet.... a nothing to be precise. Poetry and writing are passions for me... but passions which tend to take a back seat in the normal course of life. So, you will not find many posts by me. Still, there is a lot of stuff you can read on this page.
And now, for the people who already know me, I have to apologise because I havent been able to do much writing recently. I havent commented on many of your poems. Sorry for that. I will try to keep checking back whenever I have time.
Keep writing.

thats a rollercoaster one!
Its a good piece of work... infact an awesome poem. nobody can predict the end by reading the start. the start is similar to that of a soft romantic or a poem expressing deep emotions... but the end takes a subtle turn. Thats the best part of it... the unpredicatble turn around of the thoughts. Nice work.
The diction and the flow is good. I really appreicate the way you personified the ocean. The description is just superb.
the poem makes me remember the recent tsunami disaster in Asia. Wonder if thats what inspired you to write this. But anyways, its a really good poem. Just keep writing...

I havent read it!!
But I think I know what your talking about. Its just the philosophy of life, the way to live it... to have faith in ourselves, our abilities and our dreams, to believe that our dreams will come true if we strive. Liked the idea of it.As for improvements, I think the flow in 2nd n 3rd stanza. You know, just play with diction a bit. Something is missing in it, cant figure out what.
I loved the second last stanza. Its really beautiful. Its deep, its didactic, its philosophical. Just the perfect piece of poem.
I just hope you realise your dreams and that all your dreams come true. Keep writing.
