Sarah Under Water

My Poetry

  • Scrawls upon unwritten walls / The taste of Ebony’s black enthrall / Encompass the unwritten race / These are the deepest fields of the uncreate / Blacken the moon / Sink out the stars / Battle cries shed the blue / Dive
    130 words, January 14
  • Pouring rain / Beats the ground / My spirit drenched / In misconceptions / My lantern sits / The light extinguished / A soft wind blows / Against my cheek / Quiet whispers / Fill my ears

  • Brian Balzer : Hello Sarah Under Water on November 29, 2008
It was nice to meet you. Thank you for your wonderful comments on my poetry. I'm making time this morning to reply and return the favor for comments. I'm reading you first so you won't be missed. I always try to reply and return the favor, though I sometimes can't read and comment on as many as are read. I notice your and it made me sad. I've brought you a half dozen that are still fresh to try to brighten up your page.

    Thank You

Absolutely! The lantern is your heart but it even goes slightly beyond that in that the light is also hope and faith. Your heart is a dark place wihtout hope and faith so when the light begins to fail, the heart is becomming a dark place. However, when it returns, you exude light and so you hold it high for the world to see.

    Sarah

    P.S.
    How could I not comment?
