    Very Good

    This tells me you were tentative about playing the drum, but relaxed into it and enjoyed the experience of being connected to the culture of the drummer / drum maker. It would be stronger to me if you added more to the beginning about who you felt you were and how you were persuaded to attempt to play the drum in the first place. You described where the experience brought you to well, I needed to know more about how you started. Overall, very good! Music can take us to some very far away places!!

    All of the images are so strong! All of us question and critique our parents - this is a great concept for accepting the flaws and personality of a parent. Brava!!
