Swapanp : I am but H…U…M…A…N…E on January 18I am but H…U…M…A…N…E
The wild side of me
Beacons the innate desire
That a man
Be born Free
Free from the rules
Free from the power
Free from the richness
Free from tyranny
Free from greed
Free from envy
Free from hunger …the flesh…. the food
Free within
Freedom though a misnomer
Deludes us
From time immemorial……
Martyr we all stand
Times ticks on
Seconds - a minute - an hour
Our skin
Wrinkles to the story unknown
Delving in the mystery forlorn
Science and Spirituality
To be TRULY …… FREE.

Swapanp : “Can You Strum” on January 18“Can You Strum”
Strum a cord that echoes within
The hollowness of ones existence
Religion, spirituality, divine dictum
We all embrace without reason………..
Friendship we barter
Love we trade
Relations we haggle
There isn’t any gain…ever pain….
I hear a gurgle
I hear a giggle
I feel the gentle breeze
The heaven unseen
The pure water of the hurried stream
The green leaves of the tall trees
The seer flight of the eagle
The blue sky and the valley …..
The chirping of the birds
The laughter….
The melody…...
And the ring of the ice cream trolley
Fragrance within a blossom
Beauty in the landscape
Joy in the peacock dance
Enchanting the dolphins swim
I strum the cord within – Again
All mundane miseries
All at bay
I awaken to a new dawn
Of hope, sunshine and gay
