A Broken Heart, A Dead Soul

Such innocence i declared when i looked into your eyes;
feeling as if i transcended far above the skies.
i felt out of reach from affliction and pain,
but like a bird with broken wings down i came.
you were my beloved and i trusted you,
but you blinded me with lies and deceitfulness.
Such blaspheme you spoke with your lips
ceased to be a comfort to my broken heart.
in the beginning, we lavished in compassion and care.
we conformed to the tranquility and the beauty of love.
and now, you condemn me with such a confession,
such a curse that consumes every breath i take ,
offering no way for me to escape.
i despise you, for you have forsaken me without a thought of remorse.
for the tears i cry cannot douse the fire that brews inside me.
i cannot shed any forgiveness; you took my life.
you gave me a disease that dissolves me completely.
like death,it swallows me up in victory.
you spared me no hope for a second life, a second love.
sorrow fills my soul.
i can't shield myself from this obtrusion,
this persecution that peirces through me like a spear.
never had i thought my first love could betray me, betray us.
i died a death that perishes many.
like a silent epidemic, it took my life and destroyed my heart.
