An Entity Called Death

At Night When I fall asleep,
Someone rests by my side.
An entity called sleep,
It watches over me.

But behind the door,
Creeping over the floor.
Stands an entity called death,
A creature that never rests.

It creeps up on me,
and I awake all of a sudden.
But I keep my eyes closed,
and my friend, sleep comes to me.

As long as I have sleep,
Death will never prevail.
But if sleep ever fails,
may God show me the way.

Please tell me what you think

    hmnn...

I love you rdescription of death as acreature that never rests. And the end is just great. I also like the way you interpose sleep and death. This is very simple and at the same time meaning is conveyed.
