Bring Together, Take Apart

She sits alone,
In an empty corner,
crying about today,
Feeling her life slip away.

He sits at a desk,
Staring at her picture,
Seeing how much he misses her,
Wanting so badly,
To hold her closely again.

She's still weeping,
wanting the day to end,
feeling hopelessly empty,
Pondering what had occurred.

He thinks of her,
when he gets home,
trying to find a way,
a way to apologize.

She looks around,

Trying to find him,

looking and wondering,

Seeing if he wants her back.

He thinks about her,

at night in bed,

thinking he messed up,

His relationship was supposed to last.

She goes outside,

in the pouring rain,

crying not caring about how wet she is,

a night full of sadness ends with a light.

A lightning bolt strikes,

at him and her,

they both run away from it,

and come towards each-other.

Love reunited,

Full of hope and lust,

Her first kiss happened,

with one little look.

The bolt brought them together,

but it can take them apart just as easy,

It strikes again,

and kills only one.

She stands alone in the rain,

sitting on her knees,

screaming up at the sky,

Why God, Why!

Please tell me what you think

    Hey HBR....

This poem is simple but painful....
Tone is so heavy, heart of the reader would go heavy after reading this....
Painful end, heartbreaking cry at God....
    Loneliness in painful indeed....
    Powerful!
    Lolz
