The Rain

Take away what I have...nothing
Just give me no one else
I don't deserve anyone
You could've just said, "Hey, it's over"
Instead, you waited
I'll retreat to my quiet shelter
And you can enjoy what is left of me
I should've never tried to love again
Feelings I had for years never changed
But take all that I have
Which still remains nothing
Tears...I'm afraid to shed
I thought I'd finally be happy
Instead you are the one that caused my pain
I'll return back to an old time
One not so meaningless
From one time I had a chance to breathe
Underwater I drown
Suffocating...My throat in the water deep
Water turns to a black hole
In too deep...sucked right in
Lying amongst the stars
Between where we are and where we lie
Worthless Endagerment
Thunder booms overhead-Rain begins
And here come the tears again
Puddles formed
Jumped into by stangers
A lonely star weeps
As I twinkle and say, "Goodnight."
