The Love I Lost

I hear your heartbeat
I hear your voice it's oh so sweet
I get shivers when you touch my hand
I start to quiver in the cold dreaded sand

You touch my lips
as the tears start to drip
If only we could freeze this moment in time
If only it could be
I would make you forever mine


I still love you
Even after all i put you through
I beg and plead
but you still want to leave
I need your love
And your warmth beside me

I made a mistake
The consequence i will take
But don't shatter my heart
When i take the fault
I love you more than words can explain
But now my whole world has gone up in flames
