Best thing ever

We met about two
years ago
in one of
our classes

As time went by
we got to know
each other better and
better with each
passing day

we talked like we
were the best
of friends

My life was
really bad at
that time

but no matter what
would go wrong
I knew in my heart
that I could run
to you

because you would
always know how to
make it so much better

as we started off this
new school year
we got to be
closer and closer

People even started
to ask us if
we were dating
and we just kept
saying no that
we weren't right now

but they asked us
more and
even more

then finally
Christmas time came
and were were talking
about how people
were saying
we should go out

so you asked
if I wanted to
and I went quiet

I waited a few
minutes then said
"um yea why wouldn't I"

I am so happy
we are finally
going out
after waiting so long

I just want you
to know that you're the
best thing that
has ever happened to me
