[ M……O…..M!!!!!]

M……O…..M!!!!!

Loud scream wakened everyone around

Uf, No time to break my fasting,

Lunch box is stuffed
But with little extra
Shoes are chosen,
but unmatched pair

M……O…..M!?!?!

Loud scream made everyone sneak a look

Credit cards, debit cards, lipsticks, cosmetics
Everything inside
But, where is the Id card?

M……O…..M!?!?!

Loud scream disturbed everyone again

Uf… "It's Monday today", whispered my neighbor.

Please tell me what you think

whew... thats a scray scene... which keeps me away from the thought of marriage... which would inevitably lead to kids!!!

Well best of luck to you... Make sure they shout D...A...D too once in a while.

    Cheers Kiddy.

yeah..i do this kinda stuff to my mom quite often..but then she has a habit of keeping my things at "organised" places. I hate it. Sometimes people just dont understand that a mess has quite a method to itself. As far as the poem is concerned, its simple and to the point. "Uf" is more of an Indian expression really, dont think everyone here may get it. Monday morning blues are a great leveler..dont think anyone will have a problem relating to those though.

    My Oh My

Hi Kiddy! This poem is made to be read aloud. It jumps off the page with reckless abandon. You describe chaos not only of things but of thoughts and feelings.
Does M.O.M. stand for Married On Monday?
If so I can understand your nervousness and the swirl of thoughts swimming around your mind, dear Kiddy.
I really hope when you do tie the knot there is love, true love in this union for you and any husband to be, whoever it may be!
True love takes time to build of course and always requires hard work.
"But, where is the Id card?" Where is the self? Where indeed. We are all a bit lost aren´t we. Poetry helps me as I am sure it helps you also to find bits of self (amongst the chaos).
Otherwise I´ve had my fingers crossed for you during your exams. Did it help?

    Happy Summer Holidays!

    gG

      Hi gG....

you are one of the few poets who I expect comments from.... Glad you liked this little one....Speaker is none but little Kiddy a year ago....MoM is MoM, []not Married on Monday...[]
This interpretation warns me to be ready for my next move in life.... Hope Commander will take care when kids come screaming D...a...D!!!

      Thank you gG

    Delightful scatter of feelings, Kiddy.

I'm coming to this one rather late, but glad I saw it. I think you've captured, in a few colorful and high-pitched phrases, the Monday Morning Mayhem around the world - the poet in disarray and shouting for the only one we all shout for in dire times: MOM!
Love that "but where is the id card?" - perfect image for that vague Monday terror of not being quite sure who we are in the midst of chaos.
Very nice writing, Kiddy. Fully imaginative and...despite the poet's woes...fun to read!

      Thank you Lad...

Monday jerks are not new to anyone, I knew… I guessed that many poets would have had this in mind, but trying to make it later…. Glad that I started the race with an entry…. I heard my neighbours saying that they hear my louder scream every Monday and it helps them speed up their work…. My Louder Scream on every Monday is an alarm that wakes up my next doors…..
      Thanks again
      Love
