She dances ...

She dances with a graceful ease
each step with heavenly care
to move within the gentle breeze
that perfumes the springtime air

Her movements carry with the heart
and dance with its joyful song
to know that sorrow will depart
and with peace she does belong

She dances with the butterfly
made new with the changing sun
happiness grows - no tears to cry
in beauty life has begun

Very pleasent read, reminded me of one of the greats, were you inspired by Shelley? I enjoyed the words, I transported me from two bedroom bungalow in London to the forest of my imagination. Lovely.

hallo, meg! wow! i get to read of your delightfully rhythmic poems once again...and, as before i am carried away by the awesome buoyancy your poem brings me.

this is a great read, meg...very enjoyable indeed...you always have this cadence in your poems that makes me want to skip and dance after i read them. they are so gay and lighthearted and full of verve...love this one, meg!
