Granny

Granny
I'm granny to ferrets,
No children do I have.
Now another one has gone ahead
To wait on the other side.
Tears falls down my face.
Another love slipped away.
One day, when my walk is done,
I'll cross to the other shore
And find the rainbow bridge.
I see my babies
There waiting for me.
Hopping with joy,
I cross the bridge.
Granny came to stay,
And all my babies
Crawl on my lap
For stories left untold.
