God made their hands to be shared,

God made their hands to be shared,
He made their lips to meet,
He made them for each other.
Thats why she waits for him,
he waits for him to return,
Watching the sea,
She smells the rose he gave her,
He promised that he would return,
Return just for her,
So she waits by the sea,
She waits to hold his hand
She waits for their lips to meet,
She waits for him,
And he will return for her,
When the time is right.

God will return
For his bride the church,
He left her the bible,
Our rose,
There is no
Greater love than this,
Then the love of God.

Please tell me what you think

I love this poem and a wonderful way to end my work day by reading it. You succeeded in bring accross the 'waiting', building it to a sort of tension. While there is some sadness therein, there is the joy that both will one day be able to 'touch' each others' hand. In the meantime, the 'rose' is there - its fragrance to enjoy and to prepare for the return. THank you. FransB.
