Ignorance is Bliss?

Hollowed out blackened heart shaped figure rots in her
chest. A once vibrant, young, woman is now defeated by a false
sense of hope, and a lie called love.

Their bodies are separated merely by a single wall, yet trust and love are a universe away.
Dismissing her pleas, that he may fight to save their love that is now so close to death.

His ignorance is greater than his love for her, for ignorance MUST be bliss to let a love as great as this to wilt away. Such as the flowers on a grave left behind by passing mourners.

  Ignorance is bliss
             Until all is gone.

Holy shit... The beginning made my eyes light up.. Using words like "hollowed", "rot", really grabbed my interest. You know Im a sucker for your poetry! The story is good, has a deep and meaningful message. Honest and heartbreaking, yet beautiful and delicate. The intensity kind of faded in the middle, not bad, just not as intense. The ending message was beautiful and sad. Good job, amazing write!
