Wings

Butterfly kisses caress subtle skin,

Fluttering across tempted flesh,

A network of flames left in their wake.

Sounds depart,

Nothing is heard.

Only the soft pulse of thy heart quickening to the match of mine.

Your breath only felt against a milkweed neck.

Warming me to the core.

Unknown slumber.

Please tell me what you think

Wings - a great title. Stanza one flows better than the second, however the message in both are very clear. Also, this is my humble understanding, that stanza one reflects the title well, but I had some difficulty in matching the second stanza with this. Perhaps if I take some more time, I will get this right myself. On the whole, a promising poem. FransB.
