Now Here

Here I am
Nowhere.
I am here now.
Now I am here.
Now here.
Nowhere.
Nowhere for ever and ever and ever.
Ever not here.
Here I am,
I’m here now and I wont return,
So I’m taking what I can get from now
And wrapping it up and hiding it
Deep inside my heart so I can
Take it with me so that.
When I’m Now Here in another Here,
I can look back on the Here of this year and
Think of you.
Now that I’m here
I truly am in the un-lasting, ever-there
Paradise of Neverwhere.

Please tell me what you think

whoa. This poem...just...indescribable... I never thought about that the words -now here- together would make the word -nowhere.- You can just get to a deepness in your poems that I can't even fathom. This was from the heart, Colin, I can tell. You have an excellent way of expressing simple feelings like "nothingness", as we call it. Great job once again!

Thank you, but my poems aren't always this deep. I think this was a particurly good idea for me. This is a poem based on a children's book called "Fire and Hemlock" that when I was reading it, I suddenly the strange feeling that I had read that book before. That was where the bit about Now Here came from, I just added a little.
      Glad you liked it.
