Timbers

In the woods
Glaring at the low hanging clouds
Of a dark tempered storm
Your breath rushes down my neck
Eyes shut
I quiver
As the silhouette of your body
Brushes over mine
Breathless I smile
I hold my arms
As you howl my name to the moon
I close my eyes
I take you in
As you fade back to night
Leaving me with a grin
A smile undeniable
Alone in the thick of timbers
Until next time
