A Brave New World

Watching your raindrop footsteps patter away
My eyes skitter to another place
A brave new world I can never see
Where people join hands amidst moonlit trees
A bird flutters past
Enrapturing joy
What person wouldn't bask
In such vivid colors
If we could be friends without anger
If every word didn't sting to say
If I didn't walk on eggshells with you
Perhaps this world could be ours today
What if we found ourselves here
Dancing in serenity and peace
What a day it would be
Commanding fanfares
Cool blue seas
What freedom and blissful release

Tell me anything you think I need to know about this.
