Freedom


Even in the summer months the
Wind is cool with anticipation…
Shadowed clouds consume the distance.

The grass, fertile yet dry beneath my toes;
Prickly, but welcome.
And the only thing needed is a little water.

And here I stand,
Riding the wind atop the hill…
Welcoming the rain.

    Hey, this is cool.

    I really liked this and the beautiful simplicity of it all.

    The pic was great as well and really tied the whole thing together beautifully. You are very artful and I thought the whole thing quite nifty.
