Fascination with contorted obsessions
leave titles of insanity across my face
Horrific details, always read with a smile
Leaning too far off the edge
Exposing my internal imprudence
Humane thoughts are no longer a luxury
but embellish my malicious pleasures
Persistent opinions, offend the customary
Callused to assumptions of insanity
but who was disagreeing in the first place?
Radical words always misinterpreted
Judgment passed without exploration
What mindless allegations
Trying to apprehend a minority
But just because you don't understand
Does not make it wrong
Surmise my level of intelligence
Utilize your ability to arrogance
Mocking the inevitability of death
Through broad smiles and deviant grins
Audacious lifestyle defies formality

I think the whole human race would make huge progress if everyone thought like you do in this poem,you seem to be able to think for yourself rather than be taught what to think about.The problem with most people,(as you have quite brillantly explained here)is their unwillingness to listen to anothers point of view, no matter how unconformist that view may be,if it doesn`t fit within their narrow minded comfort zone then they automatically assume it to be wrong.You seem to picture humanity like you picture yourself,in your words;
contorted
insanity
horrific
imprudent
malicious
mindless
arrogant
One line stands out for me,it justifies everything you say in this poem:
But just because you don`t understand
does not make it wrong....it proves you are not judgmental like those you refer to here..
I think your writing deserves a lot more critiques and praise than it currently receives at sharepoetry!!
love it!!

This is what this poem was derived from. I got sick of being ridiculed for my opinions and beliefs, people trying to judge me simply because I am different. So just because they don't understand it, does not make it wrong. It's a rebellion against those eager to push people into conformation. Thank you for reading && commenting.
Glad you liked it.
