Your verse has left me coughing! It expertly displays another scoffer. Again, as I often find the scoffing though mocking, has a lot to offer. And Muse is real. She takes offense with scoffing, getting quite contrary. Take care to treat with deference my friend! She's not "imaginary!" But to be fair, your cat writes yours, and Muse is swift to answer. She writes mine, and typing's errors are my own, their necromancer. |

Unedited except for comma added. It shows. Later, I took the blip out of line 12. I am also removing verse 2 which does not fit anymore, now that the word "girl" has been changed in my page.
Now it really needs that couplet.

You describe this in your notes as 'humour, rhyme weird'. Absolutely on the money. It scans well, I felt the humour but I can't say I truly 'got' it. Is it about losing touch with your muse? Sorry if I'm a little slow. Happy New Year Terry. x >W< -

Hi John!
This should be a seriously celebratory day!! I am typing this in a humungous reply box, sixty-five digits wide. I am staring at the marvel of it, the incomprehensible splendour of its span! All that and only now have I begun the fourth line!!
Not only that but the font is bigger, brighter, and far easier on eyes that spend their time complaining. How?
Before anyone pats himself on the back, (I know many have told me to change to Linux--) the credit goes to my two sons.
One had taken the hard drive out of the desktop machine I scrapped ten years ago when the CD drive in it died. They slid a good used DVD-Disc-rewritable drive and my old Hard drive into the box, and between the two of them they got the box active, checked it out and everything works: I recognized my old Fedora opening screen! Online I see "Transferring data from www.google-analytics.com" running at the bottom of the screen, For that, I thank Kevin, for he must have set up to do that.
My laptop with Windows XP remains for web pages and the AP School. ... and when I travel.

It was a reply to someone who scoffs at muses and does indeed raise questions.
You are not alone--it was a problem also for me. You're not slow-- Not my losing touch, but getting defensive... I get a fair lot of practice with that because so many simply cannot accept what they have not personally known. And who can blame them?
