Cognitive dissonance,
worldviews unravelling,
plutocratic robber-barons
confronted by environmental change -
no longer
deniable,
avoidable,
postponable -
Their social value nil,
seek rat holes anonymous,
protection for their crimes
against humanity.
Masters at consuming wealth
disproportionate to true productivity
these predatory vermin
barricade themselves against
the patently obvious
environmental agony
that they themselves advanced.
And in the coming pain
they will scream the loudest
while making money
stealthily from
desolation globalised.
But in the end
cannot escape the
righteous wrath of God.

love it.
I am always amazed at how people so glorify and aggrandize the aristocracy of the past. They were monsters and I cringe(though I say nothing) every time my daughters play "princess". Royalty was just a fancy name for oppression and exploitation. There is nothing to emulate in these oppressors and you illustrate that truth well here. Anyway who steals the freedom of another is a worthless sod.
