Doors -
ancient and neglected,
unoiled,
rusted from within
Unopened doors -
kept shut
not to be reminded
what lies without
Doors -
leadlight panes,
distorted illumination,
no seeing out or in
Unopened doors -
solid timber
unbreakable,
double-locked
Doors -
stairways lead
to secret
sins
Unopened doors -
endless hallways
leading nowhere
in the dark
Doors -
muffled
screams,
abusive
