Twisted Logic

lies whispered in the dark
lies spun around my heart
if I say it long enough
will it be true?
will it be true?
is my reality others' too?
scientists preach about the light
said to be the mind's reflection of the world
red, is it the same
embarassment fear and shame?
orange, do you see it too?
happiness, flashy-ness, but nothing new?
yellow is too bright
piercing in the day
haunting in the night
green is a sad grin
a reminder of what could have been
blue, do you see it too?
sweet ignorance and bliss
like your indigo kiss
violet, the end
of the prism's waterfall bend
twisted logic all, my friend
do you see it too?
