Your Lesson

Will you love me,
Like I love you?
Think about me always,
And please, care about me?
Hold me tight when
I'm scared,
When I cry tell me it'll be alright?
Tell me I'm pretty in sweats or a dress,
And be with me forever,
No less?
I don't know what love is,
So teach it to me, please,
And stay with me forever,
Your lesson always with me.

I don't really get love, I haven't gone out with anyone, but this is what I would think of it as.

Are the last two lines as awkward as I think they are?
