Let me anoint -- you -- My Love,
Lead her by the senses.
Dip her in tar of sweet tulip buds;
wrap her up in temperate blanket.
Enjoy, My Love.
Can I bring it dripping to her lips,
to see her revive from
ideations of formative terror?
Hey you, trying to be profound!
Put your hands together
and give me a boost over the rise.
I'm giddy and my focus is inexact.
Is this exercise all for her?
It comes to me when I see that
her sheerness nourishes me,
guides me by my deep ins.
Is the agony's over for a while?
Hazard! You say your shrift will soon be offered.
And for me, it'll take the force of more than muscle
to rue the out-of-body climb.
There'll be sheer delectations
like the promise of the meaning of life,
but maybe that won't be what I see.
Behold...
All remaining is the Arborist in the clearing.
Everything's reversing.
Inhaling a gust of ferocious weather
the over 400 harmful chemicals. It's the grey all around.
But it isn't that picture remaining --
Unpredictable turns to weeping eases,
while the incessant beating of guilt and want
begins to muffle.
Respected scientist have delivered
the gift of possibility of possibilities!
But no-one knows *the probability* for sure?
It’s not reckoning they say, there's evidence!
To all, the lay too, it’s hope!
So if I focus/concentrate/believe/commit,
I can get it all back.
Now... Now!

wow
you must really care about the environment. i can feel emotions from this poem. i've always used the term "tree-hugger" as someone who doesn't want to lose all the trees, but now that i read this poem i have a very differnt view on what a "tree-hugger" truly is. it's someone that cares about the environment and wants it to last for as long as possible.
those 400 chemicals in the air were caused by human stupidity and error, there might be no way to reverse the effect, but we can at least slow the process at which or planet is being destroyed.
i have seen very few poems that tell both a story and a warning at the same time, and this is the best. i want to thank you for the wonderful read, and thank you for changing my views on the solemn "tree-hugger".

Sorry Sachiro
Thanks so much for reading me with such enthusiasm!
The references in this poem aren't to the environment though, as written by me. But if there's more to read from my preconscience, then all the better.
It's about a woman. Suffice to say, she consumes me in both good and less desirable ways.
There's the metaphor of the Arborist. And we'd have to know each other better for me to reveal its meaning.
The 400 chems is a reference to smoking. While the science reference is to quantum mechanics, and parallel universes or 'multiverses' as they are referred to.
The title refers to an 'axis' of psychiatry that groups disorders which are extreme in nature and "aren't treatable".

well written
Good imagery of the arborist alone, against the environment. The first stanza is especially good agisn the images of the environment filter though, mixed with emotions. It flows well.I enjoy reading your poetry, you have your own unique style and word knowledge to keep them interesting.

So very skillful writing here
I found myself getting lost in parts...not rasping anything you were saying..but not caring either lol ..cause the flow, the wording...just kept me reading and not noticing lol
I think by far that first stanza is my fav...theres something bout it..really intrigues the reader for the rest of the read
then those last three lines...well gee's say so much...the amount of times I have said that to myself alone lol...I like the focus/concentrate.believe/commit...but also feel you dont need both focus and concentrate...there are similar enough that to me only one is needed...but only my opinion of course
