Oblivion

Alone with silence. Alone with absence. Alone with destruction. Alone with YOU.

Who feeds fears, and who eggs you on? Who dries your tears and tells you to stay strong?

One look on the past and you’re on your knees begging for your life to end. Get up and assess the situation; you never had it bad.

What happened to the warmth you once craved? Is it not good enough anymore that you are loved?

Why kill your body when you have almost choked the life out of your spirit? The center does not hold, and you have lost your flare.

Passion and trust are lost within the cyclone. I different person emerges, and is rejected at sight.

Clouded aspects of denial surface and blind your sight. Pushing against the truth to bring on the darkest night.

To tempt the temptress is to decide your fate. I'd back out before it grows too late.

When in its grasp you'll struggle and toss. Then come to acceptance that sin is now boss.

To tell, to warn, to smite, to scorn. I vow to be your torch in the darkness to lead you through purgatory on the back of hope.

If there be justice in this world let it fight against the fierce beast. Let all this come to pass before all becomes Oblivion to the weak.

is this how you feel?

this is totally better than the suicide poem that i wrote about my friend Bobby. i love how you ask all those questions in the poem, it makes it a worth while read. i even tried to answer those questions myself....

great job on this poem. did you show that persons sister the poem?

i hope she's done with her suicidal ways.
