It whispers on the surface but inside it screams

Like a beating heart shedding violent tears

Coming closer now, attracted to your soul

Can you hear it?
Slowly rumbling towards you
Sensual almost, it knows you

The rain is here with you now
It is a trustworthy companion
Constant, continual

I can hear it!!!! Or maybe that's b/c it really is raining at my house...oh well.
This is sweet - no, not in the romantic way - it's really good. I like the whole "tip, tap" thing. And how you bring your reader in, let them be a part of the poem itself.

i love rain.. its magical. rain has many aspects and you grabbed the inspirational one... which is good in my book.
i like how you use onomatopoeia tip tap.. brings nice effect to the write.. you could have given more poetic imagery but this write does justice to the rain itself.
