Moist Inferno

Once, I blazed for you.
I listened like Moses to you incandescent commandments.
I melted in your Fiery Furnace.
But that blaze died.
Consumed by Lethian waters
after I paid the Ferryman
in the smoking ashes of my wasted ambition.
I realized you are all wet.
