A poem secretly written by my brother

I cry out to seek this answer,
this one which so long eluded me.
To finally see it staring back at me
with a bewildered tint of love.
This numbness taking over,
hints of infinite glory.
I've found the key to unlock the life
that so long hid in the shadows of self pity.
All this enlightenment to find I've risen too high,
the air must of been thin
to support the heavy breath that followed.
A final lapse of irony sat upon me,
dragging me down
then laughing its way into the distance.
Am I back at the beginning or
the end of this loathesome existance
that becomes a single tear as pure as heavens rain,
streaming down the face of divinity
to find its way back to the shell I leave behind.

So, what do you think?
