Light Music

you enter your own world
i wander around
trying to find you
but only darkness

surrounds me

i hide within myself
hating myself
wondering when
your arms will

surround me

again i try to touch
this guitar
the dust has settled thick
your image

surrounds me

I'll never be over you
always remember that day
you could live through
and the way you colored my life

surrounding me with light

Dedicated to my Uncle Jeff who was teaching me how to play guitar at the time of his death. He was on coke and had just lost his son in a car crash, he hung himself about 3 years ago.
