You are my heart

You are my heart
That never wants to be apart
You are soul
With you I am whole
My heart skips a beat
Every time I think of you
I hope you feel the same way too
You are my white knight
That always brings me so much light
Outside as it becomes night
The stars begin to shine so bright
I love you
With every inch of my heart and soul...

    Very Tender and Heartfelt

I enjoyed this poem. It has a nice rhythm. I think the title says it all. I "stumble" a couple of times when I read it though. The second line is fairly long compared to lines one and three. Does -That never wants to part- have the same meaning? I love the third and fourth lines, they say so much for so few words. The rhythm is off in line nine. If it doesn't change what you're wanting to say - That brings me such light - fits the rhythm around it. The rhythm is off again in line eleven. I think it's the words {begin to}. Last line, like lines three and four, says so much with so few words. This poem is touching.
