Impatience in Change

Tired of waiting,
Ready to begin anew,
Constantly step back,
Trying for change too quickly,
Slow and steady wins the race.

Just another "Tanka" attempt. This one may seem more unclear to everyone else as it seems to be a bit more inwardly focused... or maybe it is more clear than I think.

    Unfamiliar with the term "Tanka"...

    puts me at a disadvantage to begin with. Patience is a virture seems to be the overall message that I get out of it.
