Playing Evil

You look recklessly beautiful, your smile matches your frown.

I can't deny it, I'm taken and crashing; burned.
You are lovely when you tense up for the down fall,
you bleed a colour I'm not familiar with.

I can sense the trigger, standing on its hind legs.

It's an animal, begging for concern
but I like the way the metal feels in my hand

I'm violent and desecrated, do you understand?

And you lay across the pieces
like they never required repair in the first place.

You play with fire, almost invite being ignited.

I am torched and torn, darling
and you're ravaged and you've been salvaged
stolen, possessed. You look wonderful, though
all torn and stripped as such,

I couldn't ask for much more.
