A Baby Boy

A little baby fast asleep
Tiny hands and slender feet
A button nose and wispy hair
All wrapped up in loving care

His mother’s heart is full of joy
Each time she holds her little boy
His father’s heart is full of pride
A son to love, to shape and guide

    Very nice

You have a talent for making wonderfully flowing poems with delightful rhymes that are pleasing to the ear. What a beautiful description of the way parents like us feel or felt when we look or looked upon our babys while they are or were sleeping. Though some poets would say you have a nice start, expand on this, I think this expresses so much with so few words and shows that poetry does not have to be long or filled with complicated words to be meaningful. Great work, thank you so much for sharing.
