For You

It is for you, the fan I write.
Your adorations makes me cheer.
I am inspired on this night.
I hope I’m not too forward here
I want to get this poem just right.
Forgive me for I must be clear.
I will describe what’s in my sight.
When the end is getting near.
I will have tried with all my might.
To make my words sincere.

Brian is the first I met,
in this merry place.
His poetry from blood and sweat,
His dreams define the chase.

Second meet was Marcusmoore,
Who’s work is quite up front.
You never know what’s next in store,
Both beautiful and blunt.

Grace I think was the third meet,
Her poetry a visual shower.
Her methods always quite concrete.
One day her accomplishments will tower.

Next there was Celetialpie.
Her work is awe inspired.
One time she almost made me cry.
In a poem about being tired.

Rhetorica then introduced,
With poems so well expressed.
The stories left me quite seduced,
I’m always quite impressed.

Iphios understands the game,
his poems take their own form.
after he provides the frame,
his words provide the storm.

After that I met a Lake,
Her efforts quite precocious.
She writes from heart and never fake,
Her poems are quite ferocious.

AC came next in this small crowd.
She has a way with words.
She could describe a simple cloud,
Better then the birds.

Ginger came along soon after,
Her heart so very strong.
Her anecdotes will bring you laughter.
Her poetry reads like a song,

Next a writer I respect,
Who’s name is Carlyseye.
Her works always near perfect,
Her words are never shy,

Courage next a friend we share,
her work so raw and fresh.
Writing things that make you care,
with joy and pain well meshed.

Cee is a new friend I know,
And I am glad too meet.
I hope to see her postings grow.
Her poems so far quite neat.

NatureAngel has gifted tongue,
and knows just what to say.
Her evocations so well spun,
just a drop makes feelings sway.

Kiddy's work flows like the trees
with never a stumble or break.
With meaning hidden in her breeze,
your heart she'll surely take.

Rainbug's crafts are pure divine.
She is a true rhythmic master.
Her work sends tingles up my spine.
with poems blooming like aster.

FebruaryAngel's jots.
will make you lean in closer.
the darkness laced within her plots,
written in perfect composure.

Fastlane has a unique gift.
To soliloquies his thoughts.
His poems illicit thoughtful lifts,
His methods can't be taught.

Two2scoops has such a gift with rhyme,
her stories touch my heart.
To miss her work would be a crime,
its both beautiful and smart.

There are so many people here,
Its hard to mention all.
I cherish each and every peer,
And illustrate with scrawl.

These stanzas don’t do justice to,
The people that are in them.
Even though these lines are true,
I defined the flower's stem.

Thank you once again to all,
Your words have kept me writing.
And so the end I will not stall.
This websites so exciting.

Author notes

I wanted to be one of those many people who has written a poem about people on here. I just couldn't decide who.

I think it's amazing how you can take simple subjects like this and create rhymes. I kept smiling all throughout this poem because I know all of these people as well. Although it is not a very deep subject, you did well and I enjoyed reading this.

    Hey Enoq,
thanks for that stanza. I think in the almost 3 years i've been in this site, that's a first for me. So thanks. Can't complain about it, nor suggest changes. This poem seems to be a true work in progress.
    See you around.

I love this poem! "I hope I'm not too forward, followed by ...to make my words sincere." grabbed me and by the third stanza I already knew I would like this poem! Your work is smooth and I don't stumble and worry that I'm not getting it.

Also, people's personalities just intrigue me and hold me captive. Yes, I'm a people watcher.

Just a few of the lines that caught my ear: "Her words are never shy.", "Her poetry a visual shower:, Oh there are so many, I like the stanza - Courage... and NatureAngle...and that's not all. two2scoops

    Enoq....

you are one amazing guy...I came here and thought I had left a comment several days ago, but much to my dismay it did not take so I will try once again.

I think this is a beautiful poem, and of course, being included in it is a Great honor! You have inspired many on this site, and as for me, well...you have touched my heart with your poetry more times than once, and for that I thank YOU.

I loved the way that you so accurately described each of the individuals here, yet kept such a wonderful flow and rythm. I think it is such a great concept to keep the poem in constant revision, as to add new poets as you meet them. Thank you for allowing me to be included on this page with the other awesome poets mentioned here, I am truly grateful to have met you!

    How honoured thus am I?
    With valid points
    he's cased my joints
    to harder make me try

    to poets, you and I
    with heartfelt praise
    our souls he's raised

Hey Enoq, cool poem,i have also toyed with the notion of writing a poem about this site and the poets on it,i couldn`t do it.You,it seems, can write good poetry about anything and i`m sure every person mentioned on this, along with numerous others, look forward to reading your poems for a long time to come.

      I am honored

Thank you very much. I think its obvious sometimes when I write about stuff I don't care about or fully understand. I do sometimes like my own work and usually that is only when I actually care about the theme and think I conveyed my thoughts well.
