I stopped to watch the ants one day,
They never seem to stop.
There seems no time for them to play.
I wonder what they’d have to say;
“Excuse me I must tend my crop”
I then looked up to ask someone,
For maybe they would know.
Alas each person had to run.
The only answer seemed like none;
“Beg pardon, I must make the dough”
So I asked God to make some sense,
For he is the truth sayer.
His answer left me really tense.
“My son the solution is thence:
Forgive me I must answer prayers.”

I wonder how people will interpret this piece.

I get the first two stanzas and can see the connection you are making, but the last one throws me off cause I don't see GOD as being to busy to hear you.

Fixed
I think I fixed it -
Busy
He was the only one who actually answered when ya think about it.
"my young son the answer is thence"
Essentially the question is "what is the meaning of life" and the answer is "to keep moving" Creatures motivated by food, people motivated by food (pardon the pun for money being the method for food) and god motivated by prayers. I think I did a poor job of explaining that in this piece.
