Dare Daisey

There was a flower on Saunter street,
that sprouted in an awkward place.
In the traffic of our passing feet,
where joggers quickly run at pace.

The other flowers mocked it so,
making fun of his separate ways.
But when the sun shined down below,
the loner got all of its rays.

It's life of danger left it bare,
any time it could have been crushed.
If it had not chosen to dare,
it's blossom would not be as lush.

Author notes

Yeah... Its rough I know. Just another diddy stuck in my head.

    .Nice.

    I actually really like it!
It makes me happy, It reminds me of a sunny day.

I remember when I was younger ( around four ).
One of the things I remember the most was me,
Lying on my green carpet in my living room floor.

I remember the sun always coming in through the window always.

That never happens anymore, but those where my happiest days.

So I really like this poem a lot, it reminds me of happiness and sunny days.
