Muffled

I am muffled by warmth
Insulation filling the
space between me and
the universe, so that
nothing can echo, just
like how snow falls
evenly on every poet's
head, not cleansing
them but covering them
in pureness. I don't
think it's all that
strange how igloos
provide warmth from
the wind and weather
I also don't think
it's a coincidence
how the three little
kittens are always
losing their mittens.

Author notes

It's about poems about snow

theres so many layers to this, for me its about the feeling a writer has after writing a really good poem, but also the effort it takes to write one
